University Equity Committee

The University Equity Committee is a formal advisory committee of the University. The Committee provides leadership and oversight of CDU’s performance in relation to equity, diversity, and social inclusion for staff and students. Under the University Equity Committee Terms of Reference (PDF 79KB) the Committee meets four times a year and provides reports to the Vice-Chancellor’s Advisory Board, Academic Board, and Council.

University Equity Plan

The University Equity Plan represents a long history of equity related activities at CDU and in the sector. It is guided by foundational documents such as A Fair chance for all: higher education that’s within everyone’s reach by the then Department of Employment, Education and Training as well as legislative frameworks such as the Workplace Gender Equity Act 2012 (WGE Act).

The plan is supported by CDU’s Strategic Plan, and the Code of Conduct (PDF 74KB), which is committed to fairness, respect, integrity and professionalism, accountability, equality of opportunity, and values-based leadership.
