Management

The principles, processes and guidelines governing the ongoing management and administration of the Charles Darwin University Art Collection and Art Gallery are outlined in the CDU Art Collection and Art Gallery Policy.

This document sets out requirements for the conservation, exhibition and display, acquisition, documentation, publication, promotion, loan, de-accessioning and disposal, and security of the Art Collection, as well as copyright and ethical issues. It also outlines the principles for management and use of the CDU Art Gallery.

The CDU Art Collection and Art Gallery Policy reflects the University's vision, mission and goals, in particular: teaching and learning, research and community engagement.

The CDU Art Collection and Art Gallery is a designated unit within the Office of Media, Advancement and Community Engagement.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Barney Glover is Patron of the Charles Darwin University Art Collection and Art Gallery and Anita Angel is the Curator.
