At CDU we have unique challenges that come with providing best practice teaching and learning in over 170 locations throughout northern Australia often in some of the harshest environments.

From the very beginning of the university in 1989 as the Northern Territory University, individual and business donors and supporters have provided crucial funds and in-kind goods and services that have enabled the university to respond positively to our challenges.

It is with the shared vision and dedication of our donors that allow us to deliver the innovation, the creative, the margin of excellence that defines the essence of a distinctive university that is now Charles Darwin University.

Acknowledgment of Donors

The support provided by donors can be acknowledged in a variety of ways, such as:

• naming rights to a nominated project, which will be granted to significant donors;

• acknowledgment in appropriate university publications; and

• invitations to major university functions, especially those in which donors may have a particular interest.
