Alumni membership benefits and privileges

As a member of the Charles Darwin University Alumni you have the privilege of utilising selected services and facilities of the University. The Alumni is proud to introduce the new Alumni benefit card, open to members of Alumni. Members with a benefits card receive additional privileges. The benefits card is valid for one year from the time of purchase and is available for only $20. Alumni benefits and membership privileges are listed below or we can send you a hard copy through the post as a handy reference.

Your benefit card will need to be renewed yearly. Please download an application form (.pdf, 114kb) for your Alumni benefit card or contact the Alumni office to have one posted to your address. Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view pdf files. Get Adobe Acrobat reader.

Career services

As a member of Alumni you are able to meet with the University's Careers and Student Recruitment staff. If you are looking for a change or to advance within your profession, the Careers and Student Recruitment staff can assist you in pursuing your goals.

Publications

You can receive Origins Magazine. The magazine is published twice a year containing news, interest stories, staff development and student profiles.

Library facilities

Alumni membership allows you to borrow books from Charles Darwin University's extensive library. The 12 month membership fee is $82.50, but Alumni membership gives you a 10% discount, reducing the fee to $74.25.

Northern Editions

As an Alumni member you have the opportunity to be invited to university events. Members receive discounts on selected works of art from Northern Editions, the longest established publisher of limited edition prints in northern Australia.

  

DeveloPD

230 courses available, covering topics on information technology, personal computer operation, desktop courseware, interpersonal and professional development skills training.

Bookshop and merchandise

You may purchase Charles Darwin University memorabilia from the university bookshop or at graduation ceremonies. You can also order merchandise and sample what we have to offer.

Conference facilities

As an Alumni member, you receive preferential rates for hiring conference and function venues at Charles Darwin University campuses.

Uniprint NT

Alumni members enjoy preferred customer status at Uniprint, the University printery.

Charles Darwin University Sport

Alumni members receive a discounted rate on gym and sports members.

As a member of Alumni you will be invited to functions and reunions held by the University Alumni.

Discounts on harbour cruises

Discounted concert tickets

The Darwin Youth Orchestra and Darwin Symphony Orchestra offer discounted tickets to members who hold the Alumni benefits card.
