Call for Abstracts
Submissions for abstracts close February 5, 2010
Individual papers, posters, and symposium of a theoretical, empirical or measurement nature are invited. Those with a focus on psychology in Asia or from an Asian perspective are particularly sought. The abstracts should be no more than 200 words.
Abstracts should contain:
- the title,
- the names of the authors,
- the author(s)' affiliations,
- the presenting author(s) names should be underlined and they must register for the conference no later than April 3, 2010.
- the postal and email addresses of the presenting author(s.
Example below:
- Title: The mediating role of coping on anxiety and presenting at conferences
- Authors: Fred Smith (1), Bill Jones (1) and Sally Brown (2)
- Representing:

Symposia of four related papers are welcome and should also include an overview abstract and the nominated Chairperson for the session.
Abstracts should also contain:
- an introductory comment,
- the hypothesis to be tested,
- method,
- results,
- and implications.
Please note, specific sections and headers are not required.
Please indicate your preference for:
- Oral Presentation
- Symposium
- Poster
While authors are asked to indicate a preference for paper or poster presentation, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to designate abstracts as poster presentations.
Poster presentations will be highly interactive sessions and authors are required to be present for the duration of their session.
A discussant will conduct each poster session and authors will be asked to present a brief review of their papers and answer questions.
A prize will be awarded by the Scientific Committee for the best poster presentation on each day.
These presentations will take place during the closing ceremony.
