BusinessLink connects Charles Darwin University expertise to external stakeholders.
BusinessLink's role is to assist in linking your organisation with CDU knowledge, experience and research, and manage business proposals on behalf of the University. The University provides specialised training, research and consulting skills to our region's key industry sectors including tourism, health, transport, construction, oil and gas, mining and exploration, agriculture and defence.
We also coordinate the CDU/AIM Short Course Program which delivers one or two day training and tailored courses for personal and professional development throughout the Northern Territory. View more information about all short courses offered by CDU.
BusinessLink provides business development officers assigned to each faculty, plus a dedicated officer on Alice Springs campus. The team works with our clients to manage:
- Tenders
- Contracts for commercial research
- Consulting contracts
- Delivery of tailored courses for fee-paying students
- Partnership and third-party agreements
- Off-shore programs
- Protection, licensing and commercialisation of intellectual property.
