Darwin Symphony Orchestra

The Darwin Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is based at Charles Darwin University's Casuarina campus and is the only resident symphony orchestra in the Northern Territory.

With 75 members, including a professional lead violinist and a woodwind tutor, the orchestra conducts up to eight public performances each year around the Northern Territory.

In 2010, Dr Leif Sundstrup will replace the founding Artistic Director, Charles Darwin University Associate Professor Martin Jarvis OAM, who is stepping down after 20 years at the helm. Read more below:
