The Careers & Employment team are available to assist you to develop effective Career Management Skills. This includes:

• Developing your skills to identify career areas of interest along with appropriate education and training requirements.
• Gain and maintain employment.
• Manage transitions from study to work or vice-versa.

Employment opportunities

A list of current job vacancies is displayed in the Careers section of the Information Centre. These vacancies can also be viewed online at our employment webpage.

To receive employment opportunities by email, you can subscribe to our student-employment mailing list. Employment notices are usually sent once a week on a Wednesday.

You are able to download helpful information sheets on cover letters, resumes, answering to selection criteria and interview preparation.

Employer campus visits

Periodically, we have employers coming onto the Casuarina campus to speak to graduates or those nearing completion of their course. Depending on the disciplines these employers seek, you will be notified through the email address you have supplied to the University.

Please ensure to check your email regularly and to keep Student Services updated on your contact details through the StudentNet webpage and 'My CDU'.

Information on employer visits are also available on our events calendar and posters in the Careers area of the Uni Info Shop and faculty/school noticeboards.

All students are welcome to attend the annual Graduate Recruitment Fair  - it's a must!
