International Humanity Foundation - Volunteer Vacations - Overseas or Australia

Casual; Vacation Work

Closing Date: 31/12/09

Contact: Jessica Bishop 0412 938 838

Email: jessica.bishop@ihfonline.org

Indonesia, Thailand, Kenya or work from home.

We have many opportunities for volunteers. If you're interested or talented in a specific area, we most likely can use you! IHF is proud to work amongst various faiths and backgrounds.

At IHF we strive to give our volunteers the big-picture about world poverty and development. To do this, we ask that they get involved in all aspects of our programs. This means that all volunteers will be involved in the hands on teaching and care-giving, as well as the administration and general management of the organization. In this way, we aim to fill the missing information about issues concerning modern development, education and non-profit organisations.

You can volunteer from home for just a few hours a week. We also have a great need for overseas volunteers and can arrange a wonderful trip for you to serve on! We don't believe in charging our volunteers to work with us overseas. Volunteering overseas costs US$25 per week + a US$55 application fee, which covers your food and accommodation expenses. We believe volunteering should be affordable for all.

Volunteers must be reliable, responsible and willing to adapt to different cultures and lifestyles.

To apply, please visit www.ihfonline.org/volunteering.php and fill out an 'overseas' or 'at home' application form. For further information, email your enquiries to ihf@ihfonline.org
