After a career as a molecular virologist, Professor Martinez Hewlett has turned his interests to the philosophical aspects of science. In addition to the two books he has co-authored with Professor Ted Peters (see above), Professor Hewlett has also written a number of papers dealing with the philosophy of science, and the nexus between science and faith.
Professor Hewlett is currently with the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, University of Arizona.
