With a dynamic career spanning television production, law, real estate, office administration and public relations in NZ, Europe and the UK and Bahrain, Bev provides CDU students with a breadth of experience in business practice.

After swapping her career to teaching, Bev moved to Darwin and has lectured across business, retail and computing.

She believes learning should be engaging, interesting, motivational and practical.

“It's about giving cross-sectoral experience to all types of learners and I am proud of the employability skills my students receive at whatever level,” she said.

Virtual enterprises (simulated business) are the cornerstone of her teaching methods.

“I enjoy seeing students leaving CDU as employable, proactive individuals,” she said.

She will soon graduate in multi-media and e-learning to further aid the effective use of these technologies to her students.
