Trained in hotel management and employed as the executive (lead) chef for a range of five star hotels across Australia, Bharat brought his passion for quality dining and hospitality to the university when he joined as senior lecturer in 1999.

Bharat lives and breathes the industry and gains great pleasure from seeing students excel in their roles.

“Our trained chefs have skills for life and are now working around the world and it gives me great pleasure to know my knowledge is ultimately putting a smile on the faces of happy diners,” he said. “My motivation is to see positive outcomes by applying successful team dynamics gained through years in the industry.”
