Volker leads the Conservation and Land Management Resource Industry area at the Palmerston campus.

Before joining CDU, Volker operated a private consultancy, managing rehabilitation sites and supervising projects throughout Australia. He has taught in four states.

“I am driven to preserve the environment and I travel extensively throughout the NT working with community organisations, rangers and government to help achieve this goal,” he said.

Close relationships with community rangers, organisations and Parks and Wildlife staff ensure students are taught relevant skills and strategies.

“It's great to see students with a passion for the environment working with the many organisations in the NT to make a real difference,” he said.
