Early frustrations with computers in the 1980s put Bob on a pathway towards university studies in computer science. Bob has since taught extensively across networking and programming.

He said the industry offered a hotbed of opportunity for students who enjoyed a challenge and rapid change.

“I’m still just as fascinated as I was 20 years ago and I continue to see incredible advances in technology,” he said. “I really enjoy passing on the same sense of wonder to my students who are going on to some exciting roles in government and private industry.”
