Sandy leads the team which includes tourism, hospitality, sport and recreation, bringing expertise in management at hotels and accommodation centres across Australia.

In her 12-year career as a teacher, Sandy has maintained close links with industry.

“It's a very exciting industry for students who want to achieve big career strides and I have seen many move into significant positions locally and across the world,” she said.

Sport-obsessed Territorians are also well-served by her department.

“It's a fast-growing industry and we enjoy close links with the NT Institute of Sport to run programs that are relevant and interesting to students,” she said.
