Justin Busse brings a healthy mix of trade and management skills to CDU. He spent 10 years learning shop-fitting, construction and carpentry and joinery trades, eventually moving into construction management roles in South Australia.

Identifying his passion for lecturing, Justin then moved into a lecturing role at TAFE SA in metropolitan and rural areas, including the APY lands and then moved into campus management roles.

Seeing students learn and achieve in the industry are still his core passions.

“I’m really motivated to share core skills and knowledge to help students take advantage of an industry crying out for quality staff,” he said. “Lecturers like us could return to the industry for big money but we are really enjoying empowering students,” he said.
