Construction, Drafting and Industry Skills Training(Top End)
If a career in the housing and construction industry is your goal then the Construction, Drafting and Industry Skills Training (Top End) will be the team to deliver the skills you require for your employment.
The team delivers training at the Casuarina campus and in regional and remote communities.
After successfully completing a relevant certificate III training program with us you will be qualified to work within the construction industry in a number of trade areas which include carpentry, cabinetmaking and plumbing. The certificate II programs will allow entry in to the certificate III programs but also employment in the industry in a range of construction jobs.
The team also delivers training to high school students who are participating in a Vocational Education Training in Schools (VETis) program at the Certificate II in Furniture Making level. This program improves the student’s skills and employment opportunities in the cabinet making industry.
Additionally the team delivers training in regional and remote communities to provide the necessary training to allow communities to construct their own facilities and generate employment opportunities.
The residential drafting program is open to school leavers and as a post-trade program.

- Certificate III in Roof Plumbing
- Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services
- Certificate IV in Residential Drafting
