Trades (Central)

Trades (Central) team delivers trade apprentice training to Alice Springs and its surrounding regions and communities. The team also delivers training to high school students who are participating in the Vocational Education Training in Schools programs at their high schools.

The training delivered by the team prepares students for careers as automotive technicians, carpenters, construction workers, welders, sheetmetal workers or electricians.

An external program is also offered for in Certificate IV in Building which meets part of the requirements to gain a Northern Territory Building License.
