What we do - Health and Wellbeing
The health and wellbeing theme explores learning to explore the role of social partnerships in mutual learning and then improvement of service design and delivery to improve outcomes in regional and remote communities. Work undertaken contributes to identifying key factors in determining and ensuring high quality approaches to learning about community health. The team has expertise in formalising the processes of utilising participatory research techniques for evaluating social benefit policy and programmes.
Working in partnership with midwifery experts, the research team is implementing effective approaches to delivering and assessing qualifications with remote Indigenous women.
The program’s work is disseminated through publication and presentations in a range of academic contexts.
