SchoolsLink is part of the Community Engagement team. We connect Charles Darwin University with secondary schools and community education centres across the Northern Territory.
Our role is to:
- Assist and support CDU staff with looking to develop mutually beneficial relationships, commence purposeful engagement and involvement with secondary schools and community education centres (CEC) across the Territory
- Provide a point of contact for secondary schools/CECs and CDU staff who are looking to engage or have a request for the University
- Provide assistance and support to CDU staff and schools/CECs in the delivery of VET in Schools and pre-vocational programs
- Develop and support opportunities for secondary schools and CECs to participate in enhanced educational experiences, such as Wordskills Australia NT Regional Open & VET in School (VETiS) Competitions, Worldskills Australia Try a Trade, 3 Day Science Experience (Science, Engineering & Information Technology), the Science & Engineering Challenge, Higher Education Week, as well as on campus and Library tours
- Establish, build and maintain strong partnerships between CDU and secondary schools/CECs across the Territory
