About Marketing and Planning
Overview
The Marketing and Planning team plans, develops and implements the corporate functions of Charles Darwin University. These include corporate brand management, student recruitment marketing, advertising, faculty and course promotion, and web management.
Role and function
Marketing and Planning is responsible for tailoring the University’s message to a variety of audiences ― government, corporate, consumer and community.
The team works closely with members of University management as well as school and division heads including Corporate Services, Student Services and the International Office, to ensure activities in the domestic and international sectors are supported by targeted and effective plans consistent with University goals.
Marketing and Planning provides marketing support to internal clients on key University events, including the Charles Darwin Symposia Series (May and September), the Guitar Festival (biannual event in July), and the Garma Festival (August).
