Media and Public Relations

The Media Officer is the first point of contact to assist the media in seeking information on events, issues and people at Charles Darwin University.

Journalists can contact Corporate Communications for help in researching a story, getting an expert comment from an academic, arranging a photo opportunity or for any other media inquiries regarding the University.

Staff should contact Corporate Communications for assistance with all media management issues, including preparing for interviews, establishing working relationships with the media and general media liaison.

Media monitoring

To help staff keep up-to-date with media coverage of Charles Darwin University, a media monitoring resource called Charles Darwin University e-newsline is now available for access. The e-newsline site is a Rehame product.

Ordering of full transcripts of electronic news can be arranged through Corporate Communications by contacting 8946 7078. The cost of the transcript will be met by the person requesting the transcript.
