Web Communications
The Web Communications team is responsible for the management of the Charles Darwin University website, and provides a range of services for University staff to encourage a consistent standard of publishing across the broader website.
We have staff with skills and experience in:
- Web development and management
- Usability and accessibility
- Information architecture
- Content creation and management
- Web marketing.
Our role
The Web Communications team role includes:
- Managing and maintaining the corporate University website
- Determining the design, structure and navigation of the website
- Developing web publishing templates for use on University web pages
- Creating web publishing guidelines and tools to support quality web publishing
- Providing leadership and contributing to strategic web development activity.

Style guide for web authors
Because many people maintain the content for the CDU website across all areas of the University the CDU Web Authoring Guide has been developed to provide guidance to web authors when developing and maintaining corporate web pages to sustain a consistent look and feel.
