Communication
As the world of media and new communication technologies expand globally, so has the demand for graduates who are creative, innovative and demonstrate a high level of capability.
The Bachelor of Creative Arts and Industries (Communication) provides students with a broad-based, theoretically sound and practical program of communications study, preparing them for exciting careers as communication specialists in their chosen fields.
The course provides two principle pathways of study:
- public relations and marketing
- communication design
Students are also encouraged to broaden their studies through elective choices from the creative courses offered in New Media Design, Fine Arts and Music.
The course provides students with the opportunity to tap into their creative potential by developing key skills and knowledge essential to the media and communication industries.
Graduates are able to forge pathways to careers in public relations, marketing, advertising, media planning and analysis, film and television, web design, and many more.
