Fashion
This qualification is currently being reviewed and the fashion design stream will not be available in 2010. Further details about the revised structure will be provided as soon as it becomes available. Please contact the Team Leader for more information.
In 2010, Fashion Studies electives will be offered to provide an introductory taste of fashion design/wearable art.
To create a more complex and relevant offering in visual and fine arts, fashion elective units have been embedded in the Certificate III and IV in Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft to offer CDU's students an introduction to Fashion Design.
Students may also take fashion electives as part of their Bachelor of Creative Arts Industry (Fine Arts) as elective offerings are provided through the suite of Bachelor of Visual Arts Electives (BVEs).
The new fashion design studios provide an excellent facility to explore this creative area.
