Biography/Summary |
|
Dr Christine Doran does research on island Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia), and is especially interested in the history of women during the colonial era. She has twenty years experience in university teaching - mainly in Southeast Asian history and Australian history, which she is currently teaching. Dr Doran has also taught European history, North Australian history, Southeast Asian studies and cultural studies. She has a doctorate in history and degrees in education, arts and economics from James Cook University of North Queensland and La Trobe University. |
