About the Executive Director

Dr Scott Snyder, the Executive Director (Corporate Services), is responsible for all service divisions at Charles Darwin University. Dr Snyder is renowned for his academic, administrative and entrepreneurial skills and is focused on maintaining a positive administrative environment at the University.

"I am interested in knowing what the staff across the institution think of our process and will support innovative initiatives to improve those processes where necessary".

Dr Snyder was previously employed as the General Manager, IT Services, at the University of Adelaide and has strong interests in mechatronics, structured acoustics, control and signal processing. He has authored two books, more than 40 journal articles and has received numerous competitive and commercial grants and contracts.
