About BNA

Bioscience North Australia (BNA) is a molecular facility that provides research, training and consultancy services in molecular and environmental ecology, biodiversity assessment, phylogeny and diagnostics.

BNA's facilities include a suite of well-equipped molecular laboratories as well as genetic analysers to sequence and map DNA.

BNA delivers facilities and services in molecular biology to the private sector, government and the research community and industry.

Bioscience North Australia is conveniently located at the largest research hub of the Northern Territory, Charles Darwin University in Darwin. The genetic analyser is situated at the adjacent Arafura Timor Research Facility.

With its proximity to Asia, BNA is the perfect base for scientists undertaking research in northern Australia and Southeast Asia.
