Certificate I in Preparatory Education
The Certificate I in Preparatory Education focuses on the development of language, literacy and numeracy competencies for adult students so they can participate more effectively in employment, training and community life.
It encourages the integration of literacy, language and numeracy in the context of real-life tasks and situations.
- assist learners to develop language, literacy and numeracy competencies, which can be applied across the spectrum of work and social interaction.
- give learners access to nationally accredited language, literacy and numeracy training
- provide opportunities for intensive and/or full-time study in language and literacy
Wherever possible the content of the course is related to student needs.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Duration
One Semester (18 weeks)
2 - 20 hours per week (dependent on student requirement)

This course is open to anyone wishing to improve their Skills.
