Community Services
The strong partnership between the community services industry and the Northern Territory University is reflected in the programmes offered in the fields of enrolled nurse, disability and aged care work, children's services, recreational services and alcohol and other drug studies.
Working in partnership with the community services sector, the programmes aim to ensure that competent graduates deliver services embedded in the pursuit of the well being of all community members.
Specifically designed to cater for community service workers requiring formal qualifications, many of the community services programmes are offered both on and off campus. With a strong focus on the University's proximity to Asia, it's indigenous and multicultural population and its remoteness, the programmes provide easy pathways from VTE level to graduate level studies.
