Students get dirty in the name of fun

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Humanitarian and Community Studies recently completed component SWK260 Remote Project Experience which included a cross country and creek 'quad' segment.

The unit provides students with the necessary training in logistical and practical skills to operate competently and safely in areas of reduced infrastructure. The quad bike training was part of an intensive block which took place at the Katherine campus.

One of the students had never used a manual gearbox before and none had ever driven through some of the awesome terrain that the Katherine campus provides.
