EHS rewards its high achievers
The Education, Health and Science (EHS) Awards were held at Cafe Cornocopia in Fannie Bay on Friday, May 22. About 30 EHS students attended the Awards, held to reward high-achieving students, with a total of 48 prizes presented. Marwa Osman was one of the stars of the EHS awards and its School of Pharmacy awards, held the previous night on Thursday, May 21. Marwa took home three prizes: the Sanofi - Aventis Pty Ltd Award for Best Acheiver in Pharmacy, the Royal Darwin Hospital Award for Acheivements in Theraputics, and the Chief Minister's Award for Science. "It's such a wonderful feeling to be acknowledged in this way, I wasn't aiming for awards," Marwa said. "Throughout the course I just wanted to build my knowledge and understanding of pharmacuticals and become a competent practitioner, so to be appreciated for doing that feels fantastic," she said. About 20 per cent of the EHS awards were won by external students, studying as far away as Tanzania and China. Yifan Jiang - Power and Water Award |
