Centre for Access and English as a Second Language (CAESL)

While the Centre for Access and ESL is to a great extent a TAFE level teaching school, a small number of staff and postgraduate students are engaged in various research relating to language, literacy and related aspects of culture. Research in such areas as literacy relates to core business of the Centre, but some of the varied research relates more to the special interests of particular staff and postgraduate students, such as indigenous language maintenance and comparative Australian linguistics. As the following links are developed they will allow you to explore research within the school in terms of both general research areas and the people involved in them.
