EHSE Research and Postgraduates

Research

Staff and postgraduate students in EHSE are actively engaged in a number of research groups. These groups are divided generally by school and more specifically by research focus. The school divisions are as follows:

• School of Health

The School of Health Sciences research areas include health, welfare, social work, and psychology. Researchers from this school have collaborative links with the Menzies School of Health Research, Institute of Advanced Studies and the Graduate School of Health Practice.

• School of Environmental and Life Sciences

The School of Environmental and Life Sciences undertakes research in fields including biological science, biomedical science, environmental science, chemical science, exercise and sport science. Research groups within the school include the Tropical Environmental Disturbance and Stress group and the Tropical Spatial Science Group.

• School of Engineering and Information Technology

The School of Engineering and Information Technology conducts fascinating research in the areas of Atomic Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Condensed Matter Physics, Mechatronics, Wireless Technologies, and Water Engineering.
