School of Environmental and Life Sciences
The School of Environmental and Life Sciences conducts research that focuses on the unique and challenging environment for the inhabitants of the wet-dry tropics. Research includes studies of natural environments as well as human-induced environmental disturbance. Spatial technologies and other techniques are applied to topics of cultural and natural resource management in the wet-dry tropics and in desert environments.
The school has collaborative links with other groups within the University and broader scientific community, including several cooperative research centres and Territory and commonwealth research organisations.
Current postgraduate students in the school.
