School Administrative Leader, Ms Hale Williams received the award at a recent Christmas function jointly held by the Faculty of Education, Health and Science and the Faculty of Law, Business and Arts. The award acknowledges the best School that completed submissions into eQuip by the due date and worked collaboratively with the Manager of Academic Process Improvement in supporting staff with learning the new system. Dr Suong Ngo received Lecturer of the Year Award, while Dr Samantha Setterfield received Researcher of the Year Award. The event also acknowledged several staff members who have dedicated many years of service to CDU (and previously NTU).

Japan's more than 100 million television viewers will soon be introduced to the Territory's Great Bowerbirds known for their exquisitely-made bower and delightful courting dances. Dr Richard Noske provided first-hand narrative on the Territory species. Importantly, the film is a culmination of seven years of collaborative research between CDU and the Faculties of Science at Kyushu and Rikkyo Universities.

NT Science teachers' Great Tour of Environmental and Life Sciences laboratories
More than thirty Science teachers were welcomed at the Faculty of Education, Health and Science, on Friday 24 October. Teachers visited the Arafura Timor Research Facility (ATRF), Remote Sensing & GIS, Aquaculture, and the Exercise & Sport Science labs, with each lab providing Science teachers with hands-on activities and information on the latest technology currently available for teaching and learning.
