Monitoring a Tropical Estuary for Impacts of Urbanisation

Under the Natural Heritage Trust Coast and Clean Seas project, CDU conducted a year-long study of Buffalo Creek and its catchment. The creek and the receiving waters of Shoal Bay are prime recreational fishing areas. The study investigated a wide range of potential pollutants and identified point sources and sinks and quantified their impacts on water and sediment quality.
