Rural Studies - Katherine Campus
Customise Industry Training
The Rural Studies, Horticulture and Aquaculture Sections can provide Training Packages customised to suit the needs of your horticultural or aquaculture industry.
What is Customised Training?
Customised Training can upgrade the skills of current staff to meet the immediate demands of your workplace.
If you are able to identify the training needs of your organisation or business then the Section staff can adapt current courses or develop new training packages to meet your needs.
Flexibility in delivery is the key. Training can be offered in the workplace or off-the-job: at times that best suit your enterprise.
Who Provides the Training?
Our staff are fully qualified workplace trainers and assessors with a broad range of industry specific skills and knowledge.
The Sections can provide Training Packages customised to suit the needs of your agriculture, horticultural or aquaculture industry.
We have excellent teaching facilities in Darwin and Katherine, with the backup resources of the Territory's leading educational institution.
What Will it Cost?
In most cases the Customised Training Packages are government funded and therefore subsidised. Where this assistance is unavailable training will be offered on a fee-for-service basis.
The cost of training will vary according to individual requirements and is subject to agreement between the provider and client.
