
Scientists are adventurers, seeking answers to the many questions about the world we live in and the universe beyond. Private companies, government departments and research agencies use scientists to solve problems to improve our lives.
The Bachelor of Applied Science offers flexibility and diversity to enable students to study in different science areas, as well as allowing the integratation studies from a variety of fields outside of traditional science disciplines.
Graduates demonstrate and apply an understanding of their chosen areas of science, including concepts, theories and principles to real life situations. Students become effective problem solvers able to think globally, applying logical and critical thinking, and an understanding of scientific and technological factors, and considering issues from various cultural, economic and other societal perspectives.
