Examination Board

Positive trend data for student progress, retention, spread and consistency of grades, equity considerations, completions and student satisfaction. These will be reviewed at the end of each teaching cycle.

School Examiner Board should consider

  • SELTS data for units and any qualitative or focus group feedback on units
  • Progression rates (successful subject passes to subjects attempted ie % student load achieving a pass or better compared to total enrolled subject load);
  • Retention (year on year retention particularly 1st-2nd year)
  • Spread of grades (norm or criterion referenced) and consistency of standards
  • Completions
  • Equitable access to courses (eg females, indigenous)
