General description
Engineering offers a world of exciting, challenging and well paid career opportunities. The school offers the following degree programs at the Casuarina campus:
Combined degrees of these engineering degree courses with Arts, Business, Information Technology and Science are also being offered.
Entry Requirements
Successful completion of one of the following:
- VET or TAFE award of certificate IV or higher
- Attainment of a STAT (Special Tertiary Admissions Test) score of 135 or greater
- CDU's Tertiary Enabling Program (TEP)
- At least 0.5 of one year full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma
- Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE) or equivalent and a ATAR of 70 or higher (Bachelor of Engineering) or a ATAR of 88 or higher (Bachelor of Engineering (Co-op))
Program structure
The Bachelor of Engineering program has been structured to provide an interesting and innovative learning experience for students. Many interesting technical avenues are explored, and students graduate with abilities which prepare them for life as a professional engineer. These abilities include:

Class sizes are large enough to allow stimulating interaction between students, yet small enough to ensure all students receive individual attention from lecturing and technical staff. Combined with good facilities and equipment, this ensures that students have every chance of academic excellence.

A feeder program for students to specialise in Robotics or Computer Systems has been established with Flinders University. More information about this course can be found here.
