Accreditation
Access may be provided to staff and facilities of the university to industrial, other organisations and individuals for specialist advice and experimental work.
The university does not compete for routine work with private providers.
Rates charged are on a full-cost recovery plus profit basis and the rates are not less than those recommended by the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee.
An agreement must be signed for each service before commencement of any work.
The university provides professional indemnity cover for all properly authorised university consultancies.
