About FAS
Finance and Asset Services provides a range of services associated with the delivery, operation and maintenance of Charles Darwin University's infrastructure and financial services.
Our primary objectives are:
- To provide, operate and maintain superior, well planned, aesthetically pleasing and functional facilities and infrastructure to ensure the best environment for teaching, learning, research and service to the community through providing logistical support from within the separate divisions of FAS.
- To provide a wide range of financial services to support the teaching, learning, research and service to community aspects of university business by providing accounting support throughout the university.
To achieve our objectives we are committed to:
- Ensuring we meet the needs of the university and wider community by a process of ongoing reviews of all sections of our operations by maintaining our Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 through regular audits and updates.
- Implementing a sustained continuous improvement process for our operating system through our Business Systems Division.
- Measuring our performance in all areas of operations against other national and international tertiary institutions and providers of similar services by undertaking customer surveys to measure satisfaction.
By involving our staff in the development and maintenance of our operating system we recognise the importance of their participation inachieving our primary objective.
