Membership

While the University receives funding from both the Commonwealth and Northern Territory Governments

for essential recurrent and capital costs, the Foundation was established to generate the extra funds needed

for investment in a wide variety of programs, projects and infrastructure. Donations from individuals and

organisations support, for example:

Both individuals and organisations are invited to apply for membership of the Charles Darwin University Foundation.

Acknowledgment of Donors

The support provided by donors can be acknowledged in a variety of ways, such as:

naming rights to a nominated project , which will be granted to significant donors;
acknowledgment in appropriate University publications; and
invitations to major University functions, especially those in which donors may have a particular interest.

Donor Recognition Levels

Donations are cumulative and donors progress to new levels when totals are achieved.

Donations to Charles Darwin University Foundation are allowable deductions within the Australian Income Tax legislation.
