Dr Gail Davidson

TAA Coordinator, Business Advanced & TAA (Top End) VET Team

Dr Gail Davidson is the Coordinator for the Training and Assessment programs in the Top End and has extensive experience in the design, development, delivery, assessment of VET qualifications.  Until recently Gail was the Team Leader for Business Advanced and TAA (Top End) but decided to resign the position to concentrate on her love of teaching.

Dr Davidson’s career in training and development spans 20 years including 10 years as Training Manager for the Defence Organisation in the NT.  She has also worked for private sector Registered Training Organisations prior to commencing with CDU in April 2006.  She is a long-term resident of Darwin having lived in Darwin since 1973.

Dr Davidson is committed to excellence in education and is known for encouraging her students to go on to reach their full potential through VET and HE qualifications.  She sees CDU as an excellent vehicle where all students can find some form of study that suits their level of education and interests and where they can continue to study to fulfil their hopes and dreams.  As an adult learner herself, Dr Davidson understands the challenges that students face trying to juggle family life, relationships, work and leisure with their studies.
