Student Learning Entitlement (SLE)

If you are an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or the holder of an Australian permanent visa you will receive a Student Learning Entitlement (SLE), giving you access to seven years equivalent full-time study as a Commonwealth supported student.

Additional SLE is allocated in specific circumstances for example, if you are enrolled in an undergraduate course that is longer than six years, an honours course, graduate entry bachelor degree or postgraduate course.

Eligible students will accrue lifelong SLE, which enables them to return to study as a Commonwealth supported student in order to retrain or broaden their skills. Details of this will be announced at a later stage.

Detailed information about SLE can be accessed through the Being eligible and Student Learning Entitlement on the Going to Uni website.
