• 27 February - start of classes for all Higher Education programs including Diploma of Engineering and Diploma of Network Engineering; Cert III in Commercial Cookery and Cert III in Food Processing (Retail Baking).

COMPOSITE: A Sister Cities Photographic Competition

Haikou, China and Darwin, Northern Territory have been sister cities since 1990 and over the last 20 years a range of activities have been undertaken to strengthen person-to-person linkages between both locations. This year, a photographic competition will be one of those activities.

Entry to the competition is free and there are cash prizes up for grabs. All amateur photographers in Haikou and Darwin are invited to participate. Deadline for submission of photographs: 16 March 2012.
