Indonesia Reference Group

Indonesia

Indonesia has been identified as one of the regions of strategic importance by CDU in which research activities and capacity building opportunities of mutual benefit to CDU and partner universities can be maximised.

About the Reference Group

The focus of the Indonesia Reference Group is to share information amongst active and interested members of the CDU community, the Northern Territory Government and other key partners about collaborative activities that are being pursued by CDU in Indonesia.

The Indonesia Reference Group reports to the International Committee which reports to the Vice-Chancellor's Advisory Group.

The circulation of this information will assist in the coordination of a university wide approach to activities in Indonesia and act as a catalyst for generating more opportunities for collaborative engagement.

Membership of the Group comprises senior academic and administrative members of the University's governance hierarchy; active researchers; facilitators and managers of important stakeholder relationships, and representatives of the Northern Territory Government.

The Group meets once a year and is Chaired by Professor Sharon Bell, Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Secretariat support is provided by Sally Hodgetts, Manager, International Projects and Operations, Office of International Services. In addition, the University hosts a CDU Engagement with Indonesia event to showcase the diversity of collaborative activities being undertaken.
