ELICOS studentsAbout ELICOS at Charles Darwin University

The ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) Centre at the Charles Darwin University is now run by the Australian Centre of Languages (ACL) and is known as the ACL Darwin English Centre. Together, CDU and ACL will continue to provide accredited English programs. Courses include English for Academic Purposes and General English.

The ACL Darwin English Centre has well equipped classrooms, with access to computer laboratories, a language laboratory, an independent learning centre and a student common room, as well as the use of many CDU amenities.

Many students use their time in the Northern Territory to visit the famous Kakadu National Park and learn about our Aboriginal culture, or they continue their studies and specialise in a range of courses from certificate level through to doctorate.
