Diploma of Information Technology When I first came to Charles Darwin University I studied English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) - my English has improved so much I am now studying a Diploma and hope to complete a Bachelor degree while I'm here! Darwin is a great place to study because you don't need to spend a lot to live here, and it's not a big city. Charles Darwin University staff are friendly and seem to know what international students need. |

Bachelor of Business Charles Darwin University is a great place for international students because the student body is very multicultural, which helps us settle in quickly. The University has a very friendly environment with small class sizes, where the lecturers are more attentive to students. I chose to study in Darwin because it's close to home and the climate is similar to my country. I feel very comfortable studying and living here. |

Masters in Tropical Environmental Management Tropical Environmental Management is a specialist area at Charles Darwin University. Darwin is the perfect place to study this course - the tropical environment and closeness to places like Kakadu and Litchfield national parks are ideal. During our fieldwork, we camped out in these magnificent areas and that was a very exciting experience. Completing this course will prepare me to do environmental work with rural communities at home. |

Study Abroad Student Darwin is a beautiful place - the climate, the relaxed lifestyle - so different to what I am used to in Norway! I have met a lot of people and made many new friends from all over the world. |

Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems I decided to study at Charles Darwin University because it is close to the wilderness, which is very important for my study. The course is great because we are able to apply computer science to wildlife management. At the end of the course I am hoping to work as a park ranger. This University is very different to the stereotypes of universities - there are low buildings, palm trees and new architecture - a tropical university mixed into nature. Charles Darwin University is laid back, quiet and relaxed, classes are small and lecturers can provide individual support to students. I haven't found that kind of attention in larger universities! |

Bachelor of Behavioural Science I chose to study in Darwin on the recommendation of a friend and I have not been disappointed! I love the architecture of the University - it uses the advantages of the tropical environment and gives a beautiful face to the University. Charles Darwin University is a great place to study because the size of both the University and Darwin city mean the social ties between students and teachers are stronger and closer. We function a bit like a family. |
